Lovely, deep, resonant sound, as you’d expect from a baby grand. It has always sat in the same position in the lounge with the curtains closed around it to protect it from bleaching. We’ve had it for a few years and recently it hasn’t been getting used (the pianist grew up and moved out!). We have French polished the walnut veneered case and reconditioned/regulated the action. It benefits from having new hammers, shanks and rollers, as you can see in the pictures, as well as new damper felt. It was bought from a Newlands Pianos in Edinburgh based on a recommendation from a close friend, who is a professional musician, pianist and piano teacher in Edinburgh. This is a stunning small German piano which makes a full rich sound even though it is only 4 6 inches long. It is a fairly small instrument which will suit anyone struggling for space but still wants an acoustic piano and has a rich tone, typical of a German made piano of this era. Gors & Kallmann made pianos for over a century in Berlin, and are well known for making great robust instruments.
